Bio Kompost belongs to our  range of products designed to protect our health and the environment through the Bio-enzymatic power of nature.

Application:
  • Vegetable garden waste (hedge and bush cuttings, branches, fallen leaves, weeds, mowed grass, flowers, fruit and vegetable residues …)
  • Vegetable industrial waste (pressed parts and remains of fruits and vegetables …)
  • Vegetable household waste (parts and remains of fruits and vegetables ...)
Versatility: Domestic, municipal and industrial applications.

Usage Instructions:
Preparation of the Bio Kompost solution:
Mix well one scoop of the product with 3-5 liters of lukewarm water and stir well and leave to activate for 20 minutes. Spray the entire solution evenly on each new (10cm) layer of waste.

0,5 kg of product effectively allows composting 5 m3 of organic waste.
1 scoop = 20g

Preparation of material for composting:
  • Cuttings of trees and shrubs cut into small pieces (5 cm in length). Nitrogen waste (cut grass, weeds, vegetables, fruit ...) mixed with the carbon-containing waste (wood chips, leaves, straw ...) so that the C / N ratio is approx. 30: 1. C and N content in each waste is different and therefore the nitrogen waste can be mixed with leaves in a 2: 1 amount ratio but with wood waste or straw in the 5:1 amount ratio. Thus prepared material place by max. 10 cm thick layers on the compost pile. Over each layer spray solution of Bio Kompost.
  • Repeat this procedure with any new waste.
  •  To improve the decomposition process aerates the composted material by turning the waste at least 3-5 times / year or when odours or abnormal conditions appear.
Particular application conditions for product:
Disinfectants and some chemical cleaning products are toxic to micro-organisms (do not compost waste treated by chemical products!). To ensure successful composting, keep to the recommended dose rates and waste preparation rules.
  • Sufficient moisture content of the fill (not too wet nor too dry). It is good to cover the composting pile by a roof or by a geotextile, which lets the air in, but not water. Moisture test (of already fairly decomposed material): with just a drop or two of liquid expelled when squeezed in your hand and after releasing the palm the material must keep the form (not falling apart).
  • Sufficient air inlet (without it anaerobic conditions occur and bad odours appear). Ensure turning over the waste, placing perforated tubes into the composting pile, putting larger branches on the bottom, allowing air inlet from the sides.

We invite you to review your thinking:

  • Use Bio-enzymatic products to accelerate the decomposition of organic matter, eliminate odours and improve the quality of the compost.

In all gardens, small or large, there is always the same problem: “How do I get rid of all my garden waste, do not harm the environment and produce a high quality compost ”?
Unfortunately, without the right processes, the benefit of producing good compost is never fully realised.

Bio Kompost is a concentrated natural Bio-enzymatic activator that contains carefully formulated ingredients: microorganisms (friendly bacteria, fungi), enzymes and micronutrients for an optimum breakdown of organic matter.
It is designed to promote the composting of organic waste. Product accelerates the degradation of cellulose and lignin, present in the leaves, plants, wood chips. Product effectively eliminates unpleasant odours.
The product contains millions of  ‘friendly’ microorganisms, which rapidly colonise the compost heap and help to obtain a high quality compost. Bacterial strains are specifically selected to provide optimum production across the broad range of temperatures encountered in a compost heap:

  • Mesophiles for temperature between 20 ̊C and 45 ̊C
  • Thermophiles for temperatures greater than 45 ̊C

The backyard compost pile is the ideal way to reuse most of your garden and kitchen waste . The decaying process left on it´s own happens quite slowly. Composting with Bio Kompost is speeding up the natural process of decomposition by which organic materials are broken down and their components returned to the soil. The transformation of complex organic materials into simple ones that a plant can use is done by microorganisms.

Composting converts organic wastes into a loose, peatlike humus that provides nutrients to growing plants and increases the soils ability to control water.
Except for diseased materials or materials that have been treated with herbicides, almost any type of garden waste can be composted. You can also use such kitchen leftovers as vegetable and fruit peels, vegetable tops, coffee grounds, tea leaves, and eggshells. Chop up any large chunks before you compost them. Don't use meat products or greasy foods, which tend to smell bad and attract animals. Banana peels, peach peels and orange rinds may contain pesticide residue, and should be kept out of the compost. Black walnut leaves should not be composted. Sawdust may be added to the compost, but should be mixed or scattered thinly to avoid clumping.

When the compost is ready (dark brown, peat-like material) it can be used for many purposes. Compost can be added to potting soil for starting garden seeds indoors. It can also be used as a mulch to protect a plant's roots from the hot, dry summer sun. Compost is also an excellent material to incorporate into garden soil to help control moisture: either increasing the water-holding capacity in sandy soils or improving drainage in heavy clay soils. The more organic matter you add, the more you improve the texture of the soil. Blend the compost into the soil to a depth of 30 cm, making sure it is evenly dispersed through the entire planting area. Compost should be used as a soil additive, and not exclusivley as the growing medium. Compost is a source of rich organic matter which provides nutrients for growing plants, but should be thought of as one component of a healthy garden bed.

Benefits of composting:

  • Composting can save money you would otherwise spend on soil conditioners and it gives you a place to dispose of grass clippings, weeds, and other garden waste
  • Composting is a simple way to add nutrient-rich humus which fuels plant growth and restores vitality to depleted soil and helps retain moisture in the soil
  • Composting can divert as much as 30% of household waste away from the garbage bin
  • Microscopic organisms in compost help aerate the soil, break down organic material for plant use and ward off plant disease
  • Composting offers a natural alternative to chemical fertilizers.

To ensure successful composting, keep to the recommended dose rates of Bio Kompost and compost pile maintenance rules:
Sufficient waste quantity:
The breakdown process needs a minimum mass in order to do its job
Sufficient moisture content of the fill (not too wet nor too dry):
It is good to cover the composting pile by a roof or  by a geotextile, which lets the air in, but not rainwater.) Water the compost pile if necessary. Moisture test (of already fairly decomposed material): with just a drop or two of liquid expelled when squeezed in your hand and after releasing the palm the material must keep the form (not falling apart).
Sufficient air inlet (without it anaerobic conditions occur and bad odour appears):
Ensure turning over the waste (about once every three weeks), placing perforated tubes into the composting pile, putting larger branches on the bottom, allowing air inlet from the sides.
Sufficient temperature (about 60°C for min. 30 days):
Turn and mix the pile (with a pitch fork or compost aerator). This will ensure that all the components of the pile, not just the center, will heat up. As the temperature in the compost pile increases, weed seeds and harmful disease organisms are killed, and the decay process continues. Add material regularly (till the compost box is full) to give the useful bacteria some fresh food to consume and enough insulation to keep the process warm.

We can‘t survive without microorganisms!
There are lots of bacteria species that are very important for all living things on Earth. Your body is full of helpful bacteria – we could not survive without them. They grow and reproduce forming an equilibrium with you and preventing the bad bacteria to grow (restricting their resources!).
Bacteria have learnt to live anywhere and so they have learnt to eat whatever to survive. Some bacteria eat the food we eat, because they live in our mouth or digestive system. Other bacteria can eat dangerous or harmful substances (like oil) or eat anything that is decaying – decomposing dead plants and animals.
Our job was to enhance these excellent properties and through natural selection  develop bacterial strains capable to digest vegetable waste much more efficient. The result is the product Bio Kompost our transform army.
Large numbers of our beneficial microorganisms attach themselves to the vegetable waste and transform it to high quality humus fertiliser.

We use the power of Nature "Bio-enzymatic" to transform waste into quality product.

Competitive Exclusion
The microorganisms in the  range of biological products work on a process called competitive exclusion. This process applies to all areas and surfaces where bad bacteria may exist such as floors, urinals, tiles, showers, waste water, etc. Bad bacteria can be dangerous for our health and are causing malodours through an insufficient degradation of organic matter.
Bad bacteria are often gram negative in nature and this type of bacteria cannot survive without a food source. The use of products adds concentrated ‘friendly’ resilient bacteria into the system. These friendly bacteria immediately start digesting the food source and growing in number they colonise the soil=food source, pipework, floor or any surface and continue the digestion process for as long as the food source exists. The waste product from these friendly bacteria is carbon dioxide and water. When the food source has been depleted, the friendly bacteria have the ability to become dormant and then re-germinate when further food becomes available.
The good bacteria take away the food source for the bad bacteria, outperform them and on this basis, the bad bacteria are quickly killed off.

Responsibility towards your own health
The use of disinfectants and chemical cleaning products in households is becoming a problem not only for the environment but even more for the health of humans. Our children lose the natural resistance against illness and on the other hand bad bacteria are becoming resistant to disinfectants and more dangerous to humans. Chemical cleaning products leave irritant unhealthy volatile residues in your living space and the cleaned surface might be irritant long after the cleaning. Such an environment is the cause of health problems.
The way to change this unhealthy trend is to rely on the time-proven Bio-enzymatic processes our Nature has been using (cleaning waste water, ground, air …) for millions of years.
We have created our range of products using the natural Bio-enzymatic power.
Bio-enzymatic products contain concentrated beneficial microorganisms that eliminate dirt/waste/odour directly at the place of origin - decompose dirt and consume it as their food.  At the same time our microorganisms eliminate odour, transforming and digesting odour-causing organic matter.
Moreover our beneficial microorganisms are much more powerful than harmful bacteria, take all the nutrients and dangerous bacteria die everywhere is applied.
